Astrodex is a website that provides all of the information you need for stargazing, aurora hunting, and astrophotography. The data updates live every minute, and is based on your location. It has moon data, space weather data, cloud data, and webcams.
This tab shows information about the moon. It shows the moon phase, illumination, and the moonrise and moonset time. It also shows when the next full and new moons are, so you can plan ahead.
This tab shows useful space weather data for tracking the aurora. It shows the Aurora Score, KP index, ACE EPAM Proton Flux, G Scale, Solar Wind Speed, Proton Density, Bz and Bt. It also graphs the data, so you can see the past data at a glimpse. You can choose between 30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours and 24 hours.
This tab shows useful information about cloud cover and visibility. Simply enter your location, and the data will update. This tab has cloud cover, temperature, wind speed, humidity and visibility. It also has a 24 hour future forecast, so you can plan ahead.
This tab has live webcams from different latitudes across North America, Europe and Asia. These can be used to gauge if conditions are favorable at your latitude.
